奇楠，被譽為“眾香之首的冠冕”，是沉香中最稀有珍貴的頂級品類。其形成條件比普通沉香更為苛刻，往往需數百年的機緣方能成就。其質地軟潤，富有油脂，可“削之成卷，捏之成丸”，香韻層次之豐、變化之妙，非尋常沉香可比，自古便有“一世沉香，三世奇楠”之說，歷史價值遠超黃金。

Kynam, honored as the “Crown of the Foremost Fragrances,” is the rarest and most precious top-grade category of aloeswood. Its formation conditions are far more demanding than those of ordinary aloeswood, often requiring centuries of serendipity to come to fruition. Its texture is soft and wax-like, rich in resin, described as “pliable enough to curl when shaved and to be kneaded into a pellet.” The richness of its aromatic layers and the subtlety of its transformations are beyond comparison with common aloeswood. An ancient saying states, “One lifetime for aloeswood, three lifetimes for Kynam,” highlighting that its historical value far surpasses that of gold.
